Migrate a pool

Migrate an existing pool

Three steps to hand over the servers. Your pool ID, ticker and delegators never change.

01

Claim your pool

After you create your account, you need to claim your stake pool. Search for it in the interface and verify ownership by uploading your VRF signing key, which we match to blockchain data.

02

Upload KES-key and OpCert

Once the pool ownership is verified, you need to upload your KES-key and OpCert, in order for us to produce blocks for your pool. We verify the validity of the KES-period and counter.

Three files, and that's the whole scope. Your cold key stays where it is.Why these keys →
03

Enable block production

Simply click a button to enable block production. Your stake pool will be launched and started on our servers in the following epoch.

What we do every day after that

The part that used to be your evenings and weekends.

We watch the nodes, around the clock

All relays and block producers are running P2P with the latest Cardano-node version, with properly configured topology for great connectivity. You don't have to worry about any of this anymore – we monitor all servers and ensure blocks are produced timely and correctly.

A standby producer, ready to take over

If a block producer fails, a hot standby takes its place. Nobody has to be awake for it to happen, least of all you.

We warn you before your KES-key expires

KES period and OpCert counter are checked continuously, and you get an email in good time — not on the morning it lapses.

Every slot you were assigned, on the record

Epoch by epoch, with the block number that proves it was minted — so you can check our work rather than take our word.
